Elementary Education (BA)

This major provides students with subject matter preparation to enter the Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. It also prepares students with content knowledge and pedagogical skills for teaching in the K-8 classroom. Students who complete their degree in Elementary Education may be considered for waiver of the CSET subject knowledge exam.

Elementary Education Statute of Limitations

Because of continuous changes in the field of education, admissible transfer courses must be taken within the last seven years at an accredited university or college. Additionally, courses previously taken at the University of La Verne must also be less than seven years old to be accepted into the current degree.
