The focus of this course is on medical and clinical terminology broadly relating to human anatomy and physiology and the basic body systems with added emphasis placed on those terms pertaining to diagnosis and pathophysiology. KINE 495 Kinesiology Internship
The internship experience is viewed as an integral part of professional preparation. The internship is designed to provide a quality, hands on clinical/practicum experience that is specifically related to the student's career goals. The credit hours earned will depend on the number of hours completed. The internship requires a minimum of 40 experiential hours, verified by an internship site supervisor. The internship experience should be compatible with the goals of the Kinesiology department, the student's professional goals, as well as with the specific needs of the internship site supervisor.
